All are welcome!
Worship Services are at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays, and include a
children's program, followed by coffee, fellowship and
refreshments in Stidley Hall. All are invited to stay and visit with the
congregation and enjoy coffee and refreshments.
Whether you are visiting the area, are a part-time resident or have
relocated to the community, we invite you to worship with us and to
participate in our programs and activities. Our congregation is here to
welcome you warmly as a community in Christ, blessed to be a blessing.
As we prepare to welcome our new Pastor, we will be saying good-bye to
Dianna, our vice-pastor who stepped in to serve us during our time of
transition. Below is a note from Dianna as she completes her time here
with us:
Greetings to Prince of Peace Friends in Christ
I want to formally thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you as
Vice Pastor for the past six months. It has been truly a pleasure to work
with a healthy, active congregation. I pray that your goals for the church
will be exceeded. God has a way of making things happen.
I also want to extend my most sincere gratitude for your generous
contribution so that I may have health insurance. We do not know how
fortunate we are until we do not have good health for whatever reason.
Having a chronic illness makes staying healthy a challenge.
I have found working with Prince of Peace, a wonderful learning
experience in team work, compassion, and sincere sense of responsibility.
I have also been impressed with your genuine love for your Church,
Prince of Peace, and your ministry. I know that with this you will continue
to grow, if not in numbers, more importantly in your faith. I pray that you
remain faithful to who you are and what you do! Keep the faith and joy of
ministry alive in your hearts! I will miss you as my dear friends in Christ.
Go in Peace and Serve the Lord continuing to be a Blessing!
Pastor Dianna
